BRAIN-BASED TECHNIQUE
Developed by British therapist Terence Watts, BWRT works with a split-second gap in the brain — the moment before you consciously register something and react to it — where automatic responses like panic, anxiety and fear are built. Instead of talking through what happened repeatedly, it helps the brain build a new automatic response to reach for instead.
You don't need to relive or describe difficult events in detail for it to work, and many clients notice a real shift in as little as one or two sessions for single, reactive symptoms — though, as with any technique, results vary and can't be guaranteed in advance.
